Individual Monthly is $19.99 per month and Individual Annual is $199 per year. Both are recurring subscriptions: they renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually — at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. The free experience is never charged and never converts to a paid plan on its own.

The first charge occurs at checkout, and later charges occur on the same calendar day of each renewal period (adjusted for shorter months). Renewal terms, the price, and how to cancel are shown on the checkout screen before payment, with no preselected consent checkboxes and no misleading buttons. Receipts and invoices are issued by Paddle.com.

You can cancel at any time, without contacting support, using the "Manage billing" control in your account area. It opens your Paddle.com account portal, where you can cancel, update your payment method, and view invoices. You can also manage your subscription directly at paddle.net or write to hello@gradelikeme.com and we will help.

Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, AI drafting stops unless free submissions remain. Your assignment setups, rubrics, and preferences stay in your account. Cancelling does not delete your account — use the data request page to delete it.

• Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so you keep what you paid for.
• Mid-period changes are prorated by our payment provider, and any adjustment is shown before you confirm the change.

The free experience includes up to 40 student submission reviews in total, counted once per new submission. Regenerating a draft, using Quick Nudges, In-Document Feedback, Teach GradeLikeMe, importing a rubric, or editing and copying feedback never uses an additional review. A generation that fails uses nothing.

Paid Individual plans are intended for one instructor's own grading and are not metered per submission. To keep the service reliable we apply internal safeguards against automated, shared, or resale use, and we may contact you or briefly pause AI drafting on an account showing that pattern. Ordinary faculty grading — including heavy end-of-term grading — is not affected. There is no overage charge.

If a charge fails, Paddle.com will retry according to its standard dunning schedule and will email you about the failed payment. If payment is not completed, the subscription lapses and AI drafting stops rather than accruing a balance with us.

Prices are shown exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated and collected at checkout by the payment processor based on your billing location and appears on your receipt.

The 40 free submissions are the trial: no card, no expiration date, and no automatic conversion to a paid plan. When those 40 reviews are used, AI drafting pauses and you choose whether to continue. Any future promotional trial will state its length and what happens when it ends before you accept it.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you can request a full refund of your most recent charge within 30 days of the order date. Renewal charges are eligible on the same terms: you have 30 days from the date of the renewal charge to request a refund of that charge.

How to request a refund

• Visit paddle.net — our payment provider's buyer portal — and use your order email to find the transaction and request a refund.
• Or write to hello@gradelikeme.com with your account email and the charge date, and we will submit the request on your behalf.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

Refunds are issued by Paddle.com, which handles the payment and the return. Their refund policy and buyer terms also apply to your order. Beyond this guarantee, we review individual requests in good faith — for example a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a technical problem that prevented you from using the service. Statutory refund and withdrawal rights that apply to you are unaffected by this policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

This means your order is placed with Paddle.com, which collects payment, applies tax, issues your invoice, and handles refunds. Full payment-card details are entered on the payment provider's secure checkout and are never received or stored by GradeLikeMe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and limited billing details such as your billing email, plan, and renewal dates.
